Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!

Fraud - spoofed telephone number almost certainly from Indian call centre of fraudsters. Asking if you want your Amazon Prime subscription cancelled otherwise £79 will be debited from your account. You are instructed to go to your computer and press [Windows + R] key and type "anydesk" and press enter. Then you are to search Google for "anydesk". She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction
