just got 2 text messages after trying to use my card to pay for a transaction with a store declined for no reason. the 1st text said it was RBS and to expect a second text from this number asking to verify transactions just as others on here have said. Deleted it.

I received a call from this number earlier, I asked him to remove my number from their database, he then said do you not want to know why I m calling you, I said right just get on with it, he then Sai that if I wasn t interested to hang up, he was quite aggressive and I asked to speak to his manager and was told to p*** off and he hung up, I have now blocked the number on my phone. If I was you I wouldn t answer

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. rang me on my mobile told me my name, stated he was from an unaudiable ins company. Told me my address AND car registration No. Said I ahd been in an accident and was earmarked £1000. I told him I had not been in accident, asked who he was and his company, he hung up.

Had a few calls off this number but when I try to ring it phone says it don't exist..
