This number called twice this week, both times trying to sell renewable energy products (probably solar panels) but pretending to be a survey. The number doesn t display as withheld.
A recorded message said £600 had just been taken from my bank account and sent overseas. I was asked to press the number 1 which I didn't and I rang off.

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.
