Calling me to follow up a PPI claim from a few weeks ago(which never happened) I didn t give them any details but they already knew a few things about me (name,home & mobile no. And what bank I use!) Asked me to give more info (card details, previous addresses) scam if I ever see one!!

Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.

Called me and said needed to review my life insurance. Knew my name and dob but when I asked which company, policy number, sum insured had no details and hung up. Sounded legitimate but clearly not
Fraud - Automated call supposedly a local number stating "Bank Security" without naming a bank about payments made on credit card. Have has 3 calls exactly the same in the last hour all from different local numbers.

Apparently a market research company based in Ashford, Kent. When I have to give my phone number to a company (bank, etc) I don t expect it to be passed to ANYONE - even a company doing research for whoever I gave my number to. I especially hate being called at 1900 - 2100 hrs and the phone not ringing long enough for me to answer it, even if I wanted to. Especially annoying if I m actually expecting someone to call and then the phone goes dead . Don t need this harassment at my age.

I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.
After several calls I finally answered one.. trying to connect ... that s more than a little duboius. Yet I wanted to know you held the other end of the line, so I answered a second call.... and guess what.... PPI .... pain in the ****

I went on their website a few days ago and have been calling, texting and emailing since. They try to get you in by offering region specific free solar panel and then when they call they are trying to get you to take out a loan for the solar panelling. there is no way to stop them from texting you but i blocked email and calls from my mobile. Don t do what I did folks. If they ask for your post code and telephone number, DON T DO IT and enquire else where.
Any annoying woman from Compare My Policy based in Manchester keeps calling to sell policies that I have never asked for nor am I interested in. She is rude and disrespectully informal considering they want to win my business. She then get's offended when I express my anger that they are calling yet again and blow them off.

SCAM Man called Oliver with Nigerian accent said he was calling from BT about my internet speed. Asked me to go onto my computer and press ctrl and some other buttons together. Didn't even switch the computer on just went along with him and said nothing is happening. He ended up getting very cross and swearing at me think he might have guessed I was stringing him along.
