I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!
Missed call, no voicemail message left. Unrecognised number, assumed to be marketing or scam.
Answered call, no one on other end, then they hung up... maybe wanting to get my name first if you answer calls like I do.

SCAM - calling to take payment for fees to release compensation payments that are due to you from an accident you had some time ago.
Recorded message: "This is a call from E...", then hung up. I'm registered with TPS so shouldn't be receiving any telemarketing calls. Number now blocked & reported.
