I responded to an e mail advising me I could claim money off my electricity bill. I left details. Now I keep getting sms messages, "I tried to call you today", call this number. I called the number 01242 343001 and immediately put in a queue, I hung up. I said I was not prepared to give my details and asked them to remove my telephone number. She said thats not possible as its regarding a business issue so we will call back another time. I said you will get the same answer no matter when you called back. She said thats fine we will just call back another time. I shall be reporting them to OFCOM as this is illegal.
I got the same call from 020 7175 4882 saying my house was under surveillance due to impending law suit. Will report to fraud squad.

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All of them are used for some kind of telemarketing (sometimes also cold calling), seems to be working for non-profit organizations (Cancer Research UK and similar), but in fact nuisance. People did someone answer this number?
