Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. Got a call from this number stating that someone had put me as a emergency contact number, and they have had a car accident. I obviously called everyone i knew to make sure they were all alright, this seems to be a SCAM.

This number called me today, has called before and I made an excuse but if they call again I will challenge them as to their authenticity and real purpose for calling.

SCAM I answered this number today and after around 5 seconds of silence, was played a recorded message saying something about my National Insurance number being involved with some fraud. It then said to resolve this issue PRESS 1. at which point I hung up.
This is police officers radio which goes point to point into landline hence the number. Its from there radio handset and its a set number.
