After three attempts to understand the Indian accent I got the supervisor, who bluffed through the same conversation and put me back to the agent. As above an Indian chap who said that his name was Jasper, we sometimes get called 20 times a day, he says that he is from Microsoft calling as they have noticed some issues with my operating system. I let him go on for a while, he wanted me to sign in and let him take control of my pc, I then said that I was a licensed Microsoft engineer and the line went dead immediately.

cold call about possible reclaiming of interest/insurance paid on credit card - asked how they got my number as hadn t had card for years - said it was possibly if i had barclays, mbna or capital one credit card, if i had paid the minimum amount and interest gathered then credit card company were automatically adding insurance to fee from 2000-2009 incorrectly and it could be claimed back. Advised me to go through my paperwork to see if had valid claim
