I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!

After what can only be described as border line bullying I went to speak to one of there "qualified" advisors. Fraud: Played recorded message claiming there is a tax fraud case with Customs & Revenue against my name: at this point I hung up and checked the number on the web. It is a Bolton area code; no reports about the number previously (which probably means it's a disposable number).
