Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. Scam: pretending to be from HSBC. The text message was followed by a phone call. "Dangerous" DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
TAXES / HMRC I just had an automated call from this number where the voice tried to scare you that you are investigated on tax and you will be arrested shortly if you don't speak with the HMRC officer (which they offered to connect with after pressing one).

"Asian" voice saying from Talktalk wanting to check your router....This is a scam trying to empty your bank account............just hang up on them.

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name".
