Was phoned by someone saying that I'd won a free holiday and all I had to do was pick up the vouchers from opposite the Trafford Centre in Manchester, both me and my husband. I'm working, and my husband is looking after our young children so we don't have time for that, particularly in this day and age of electronic tickets, emails etc. Five minutes on the internet reveals that this company = CLC World - will offer a high pressure sales pitch for a long term time share. Usual annoying rubbish

Claimed to be doing market research on behalf of banking industry. Told the young lady very politely that I don't do market research over the phone. As I have just returned home from a long stay in hospital, I found this call quite distressing.

Have had 27 calls in the last 5 days.Just ignoring them.01617110326 has followed on from 01217949334.

If they stay on the phone long enough, tell them you are another person answering the phone for you, it is not your phone and say you are deceased. I have found that helps stop it in a lot of cases. I was going to try it here but they put the phone down too quickly.

RAC sales calls

First care asking if I was Happy with the way insurance company dealt with the accident that was my fault

Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.

I keep getting these calls from mobile numbers which have the same first few digits as my own, I never answer them, but they must be dangerous.

There were mutterings in the background which sounded like a call centre and nobody answered me when I said hello twice. It cut me off after a few seconds.
