Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.
