lots of calls from Crime Prevention company they will just not give up even trying to con a colleague into saying yes when I have already told them no!!! Had similar experience previously by a different name and they actually only ever printed 12 copies of their newspaper which we had been asked to advertise in! This is how they can seem legal. These con-men need to be stopped

Cold calling. The woman was telling me I could get £2500 back from a PPI claim, told me I could have it back by Christmas (because who doesn t need £2500 for Christmas!) told her I had no PPI anywhere and no mortgage or loans so she hung up

I got a call from this number. Dropped it and called back 5 minutes later and got a recorded out of office message. Feels like a scammer.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. Had this number, 01619390228 call me a few times recently, they don t let the phone ring very long, have never left a voice message and on trying to call the number I get an engaged tone, will try to get to my phone quicker next time to answer, reckon it s a scam call, shouldn t be allowed !! My telephone number shouldn t be given out by any anyone except me !!

This is the Direct Line CLaims Line, they rang me as someone had damaged my car, and they were arranging repairs etc, so genuine number.
