When i answered someone stayed on the phone 35 seconds and then it went dead.
Just called with an automated voice claiming that my amazon account had been compromised and someone had ordered an iPhone. Checked both amazon UK and USA and no order on either, so likely to be a scam to get payment details from you.

Called a few times, I picked up on the 3rd time because I've never had a strange number call so much. Said they were from my provider and wanted to thank me for my loyalty but also wanted me to confirm several details about myself so he could tell me about some special offers. I saw no reason to answer him as I didn't want a new phone, nor was I sure he was even legitimate.

Had a missed call from this number today - called themselves Reactive Homes and were selling Home Insurance, totally out of the blue and did not request. Easily combated this by saying I was moving shortly and they soon got off the line, just irritating!

I never take out maintenance contracts on anything as a matter of principle, as it generally works out cheaper to pay as you go, so I know this isn't true.
