I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!

Fraud - spoofed telephone number almost certainly from Indian call centre of fraudsters. Asking if you want your Amazon Prime subscription cancelled otherwise £79 will be debited from your account. They called me yesterday saying I was paying too much for my TV insurance and I replied I do not have a TV insurance and I am not stupid. They hung up. They called me again this morning at 8am and woke me up and when I answered the phone the line was dead. They have also been calling my neighbours too who are elderly and fed up with it.
Can?t be trusted in my opinion. My family has nothing to do with and no connection what so ever with London, England where this number comes from. This number from England, called my under aged childs phone number. I would not recommend anyone to answer.
