I think have been scammed by the number

Rang saying my insurance was due in my washing machine, I told him I don t have insurance on a machine he said sorry I must have ring the wrong number.

Sounds like a misdial? 08456201111 is a published BT service which rings your landline number to alert you when someone sends a text message to it.

Called on my landline today at 7.44am. Definitely Indian call centre scam call so I hung up straight away.

from looking online i m assuming its some kind of scam debt collector, i don t tend to pick up phone if i don t know number, but i checked number online in case it was job centre or something, but apparantly its some kind of cold caller, waste of time talkin to these ppl if in fact u get to talk to a real person, most of time its auto msg and u get asked to call back, not happenin

After telling me at the interview which wasn t really an interview was basically listen to the manager on what they do there he said you have the job basically went in for introduction done it come home got told I would get a call for my shifts let that night got a call and got told I was unsuccessful after being told I had the job if I liked it really? Use all need to get your stories straight I have been used cause I was told there was short staff use smoke in that building use are totally dodgy! For ever

a home insurance company calling about a quotation I did online the night before.

How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

Apparently my phone has been selected for a ?2,000,000 prize. To good to be true? Absolutely - bin it.

Venesta Washrooms - The same person calls our office 3 or 4 times a week asking for various people s phone numbers (Quantity Surveyors I understand, but they will ring for Site Managers, Labourers, HR, Accountants etc.) and then calls back the next week asking for the same information - she has asked us for one QS s number 4 times in the last week alone! Do not answer this number, they are a nuisance!

I answered line went dead, I called them back, I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then the line disconnected.

Same story. About a road accident I had but caller was from Liverpool and they used an 01462 area code. Trying to get me to claim for unnecessary whip lash etc, I suspect. Blocked.

Calls multiple times a day, I screen my calls so do not pick up, leaves no message.
