This number was used by my local Peugeot garage/dealership where I take my car for MOT, servicing and repairs reminding me that my car is due for MOT.

Very aggressive attempt to interest me in IVA arrangements. They say they are calling everyone over 18. I said that must be about 40 million people, and how do they know I m over 18. Non-native English speaker asked for someone I ve never heard of, then wanted the lady of the house instead. Hung up but they rang back two hours later. Complained to TPS.

National Hearing Centre is a cold calling telephone operation with numerous complaints listed against this operation see for example 01274 965666. not bothered that my number is registered with the TPS. failed to disclose the nature of their organisation namely a claims company in the end I simply hung up.

They are from an animal protection charity. I saw advert on tv( Channel 5 I think ) and txted to donate monthly £3. This was the reason they were calling me.

They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!
