A slight twist on other reviews, as claiming to have ?2500.75 (very precise) owing to my daughter, on my phone, for an incident 2-3 years ago, or when pressed, in the last 4 years (all very imprecise!). Asked for company name and told Motor Investigations. I haven t acted on behalf of my daughter on my phone for over 10 years now, so old contact lists being obtained from somewhere. Will be reporting to Ofcom.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They said that he needed to transfer ?11,000 from another account to sort out the problem and he would give the details of the account that he needed to transfer the money to. I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Caller was a scouse female.

SPAM John from a company called something like 'window and doors limited' but can't quite remember, british accent. Said he was in the area doing some window and driveway installation work and wondered if there was anything he could help me with. I queried where he got my number from and he hung up. called the number back (01174433677) and it's an automated voice saying i'd been called by digital marketing solutions company for market research (not the name of the company he'd given!).
