A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. Just got called by this. Rang back, just started blepping.

I answered a call from this number but it was quiet on the other line then hang up on me. This number has been ringing me numerous times now, no voicemail or text. Beware.

Typical car crash claim telesales person starting with the usual question: “I have been told that you were involved in a car crash. Is that right?” They are trying to make you speak about such accidents if any by asking such questions. So, hang up the phone and not waste your time.

Ambulance chasers. Called on pretence that it was about an accident I'd had a past 3 years. When I said the database he had was wrong, caller just hung up.
