They text you and pretend you have missed a parcel (no information is given about the parcel.) then ask for postcode (any postcode you enter always comes up with same page about try to delivery today at 11:23.) the asks for personal data name address birth date and then ask for a small fee for redelivery and ask for bank card and bank account details.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.

This is a very complex scam. They use Voice recognition software and series of recorded English female responses. NEVER GIVE ANY DETAILS RE YOUR NAME< ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. THIS IS FIRST RATE FISHING. KEEP them on the line for as long as possible so they don t have time to annoy others, especially the vulnerable. Its much more fun to wind them up than come off the phone annoyed...

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Suprise however - company states had to stop trading as under investigation but investment still safe!! Have since reported to police/action fraud but feer money gone ( life savings). scam phone call, from a man who claimed he was ‘calling about loft insulation that had previously been installed’ and went on to say that they ‘needed to visit to do a free inspection for damp and mould’. when I told them I have never had loft installation installed they hung up. They have called 3 days in a row now with this scam, always introduces himself as Tom but does not state what company he is calling from
Number has called me several times too, on answering it immediately goes dead on ringing back it is blank and then goes dead.
