I have no idea who they are or what they want but i receive 2 calls a day everyday saying we need to speak with you have blocked several numbers for them now 1 message left said this is a debt relating to my water in northumberland and i have never lived in northumberland and another vm today said its relating to an outstanding parking ticket sounds like a scam will be blocking every call from them and they should be reported to the financial ombudsman

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.
