Notified me I may be struggling with unsecured debts! Sounds like a scam...

Automated female voice thanked me for ordering from Amazon, advised that £399 had been deducted from my credit card and my iPhone 7 .... at which point I hung up.

I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! They just called again even though I blocked their number. When I first answered weeks ago, they immediately ended the call. I m worried it s some kind of scam.

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.

It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

Called to speak to the owner of the business. I asked what the call was about, he explained in world record speed so I asked him to repeat. Got very rude when I said the boss wouldn t take the call and said I wasn t asking you. Put the phone down. A-hole.

Calls me every day. Girl called Hannah telling me I ve been in a car accident. I remind her that we had this conversation yesterday and that I don t drive. She acknowledges this but insists I have had an accident anyway! Same time tomorrow then Hannah ffs!!!!

Definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number on your phone. Refer ...

Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!

This number is very active in harassing people at the moment. Saw on Scottish Power Twitter today customer complaint of this no. SP replied to DM Scottish Power with their number and they would remove from dialar. S P s admission it s their number ! Will S P remove their number ? They keep ringing morning noon & night!!!! Its British Gas "Non urgent call" unquote. They told me to ring back on 0800 072 4150 to stop all future calls which will take up to 28 days to action!
