Central Claims grop do not answer probably a scam

I had a minor motor incident and claimed on the other driver s policy 2 years ago. These ****s call me EVERY day, sometimes twice a day, despite me telling them not tonand asking to have my no. removed from their database. They know Ive made some kind of claim. Her insurer MUST have sold my no. illegally (data protection). Sadly i didnt keep the insurer s details.

This number phones 2 or 3 times a day luckily I have facility to block the number.

2 calls today - introduced themselves as TalkTalk to discuss "router servicing". Line was very poor, when I said so they hung up. Contacted TalkTalk and they confirmed it was a scam call.

Company looking to get people out of timeshare contracts - yet another scam? Be careful as this company does not seem legit.

Had calls at 0740 and 1133 today - same old same old! - offered to fix computer virus problems. Was I born yesterday? Wish there was some way of blocking these b*******s

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

Called my mobile, knew my name and started "I have here that you used to work in a noisy industry". Sigh...

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I don t answer calls from unknown numbers, but look them up on the Internet. Having read other people s comments I m pleased I didn t answer. Thank you all for your comments. They really helped.

These people have continued to hound me on my mobile number chasing a person that I do not know and despite requests to cease they continue.

They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.

Called me but i didnt answer. Called back and the automated message said i was called today from RK Legal regarding my car crash (never had one) Pressed 9 to not be called back but assuming they were trying to sell me stuff (Im on the TPS so totes illegal!)

called me a few times but left no message, now blocked.

Caller claimed that our internet would be cut off within 24 hours, press 1 for a technician who would provide an IP address. Smells of scam!

They are calling "from BT" claiming that my pc is infected, they will ask for online access to my pc, they will take control of it only handing it back when I pay a fee - despicable scumbags
