Fraud Called me at 8am and a robotic voice asked me to press one to be connected to an HMRC operative or else I would be arrested imminently. HMRC apparently do not ring up using automated voice technology, do not phone up to threaten arrest and are generally not phoning people unannounced at that time of day.

SCAM / SPAM Scam call claiming to be calling from Sky, telling me to switch my computer on as there is a problem with my internet. Told her I'm not a Sky customer and my internet is working fine, then I hung up. Obviously a scam to try and access people's devices and details for nefarious purposes.

SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel). Who would have thought the national crime office were using a plain old 3 network number instead of a private number? Not the first time I've heard from these twits. Number now blocked.
I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up.
