Repeated calls from this same company with an automatic voice message saying it is a "government awareness call" and asking me to press 5 for an information pack or 9 to opt out. Pressing 5 takes me through to someone who hangs up on me immediately when I start asking about his company or asking for my number to be removed from their database.

SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable.
