Claiming to be from Amazon. Its a local STD code to me but the number it called I have never given to Amazon. So I'd say its spam.
One of those robot calls saying calling from Amazon prime but I don’t even hold an account so it’s a spam called attempting fraud

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. The Indian caller I could not understand the mentioned very quickly a company name that was illegible and they made up a reason for me to call them back so they could discuss, I’m guessing this is when they try and either scam you or sell you something you don’t need

Very abrupt chap called Charles said he was from Domestic Appliances and would not let me get a word in edgeways. He said my appliances were no longer covered as my insurance had run out. I asked him which appliance had recently lapsed insurance - he wouldn't answer just said "are all your appliances in working order. I said I already had appliance cover - he put the phone down.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened.
