Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. 01905781225 - I requested a brochure online for rise recliner chairs. Within a couple of hours I started receiving calls from this number on Friday, Saturday and even Sunday. They continued Monday and Tuesday and today under 01905791212. I have now blocked all numbers.

SCAM/phishing. Caller claimed to be from BT Broadband about a connection problem. Could barely understand his accent.
This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.

Incoming call at 14:19 18:05:17 as a BT text message It s a poor recorded message, the caller voice is female it states that the call is from the HMRC and advised that you should contact your solicitor or legal advisor and then goes on to threatens legal action if you fail to call back advising not ignore this call. I called back the number after obtaining it from 1471 caller service the caller’s number was 0116-304-0838 which I called back and challenged the validity of the caller who stated he was from
