Defintely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacturer...

Received several telephone calls from this number, Kilmarnock number but said they were based in Glasgow and working on behalf of trust deed Scotland, asked me about any unsecured debts I have. I have none. They said that they would take me off their system. Don t know how they got my number, but they also knew my name. Very random. And annoying.

I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules.
