Cold call claiming to be from Microsoft, to "Clear errors from my software" I didn t do it, and have since checked a forum saying it s a common scam.

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.

Continual calling and hanging up after i accept call.

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!

They ring up to 5 times a day most calls silent but when they do speak its with a strong asia accent its really annoying we too are on tps begining to think they have somthing to do with it as they are not stopping them

I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Really bad accent,hard to understand and rude. Hate these calls.

They have called twice left message once and sent me two emails concerning a debt for plusnet. I contacted plusnet who confirmed no outstanding debt and that this was a scam.

Keep telling my terminally ill father that he rung them a year ago about investments my father does not recall this and my father would of asked my best friend for investment advice this is the fourth Time they ve rung us. Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out
