SCAM, it sounds like a rerouted Indian call centre, using a UK number, claiming to be a generic "internet security".

Fraud. Claims to be PayPal but answered by Indian call center. Asked them what my paypal email address was and they hung up. Kept calling them and asking if they knew that what they were doing was fraud/illegal.

I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

On ANDROID just block the number, it called me like 50 times per day, but since I blocked it I have peace of mind.

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. This number has rang me several times I think this the London company that called with man asking are you home owner or rental. Then he asked if flat had any dampness or other problems. There trying to get you to let them report the damage then you would get into trouble with council. They would be threatened with legal action. Next trick is no win no fee. Costing you around £400 if they don't win. They only take cases where they are over 80% chance of win . Scam to get your address and bank .

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.
Spam/silent calldon't know what company it is however it has rang me several times the last few days and i don't know anyone nor have I requested anyone from Bournemouth to call me, they have called from this phone number and +441202057480. I answered the call once and it was silent for 3 seconds then ended. If anyone knows who these numbers belong to please let me know as if they don't stop calling I'll be taking this further as their nuisance calls are blocking me from my expected important phone calls ??

SCAM As soon as I answered a recorded message started that two withdrawls had been made from a bank account. No name of bank, name of holder, card number etc etc. This is a scam and is the same recording as several other calls I have received.
This was an automated call advising I had suspected fraud on my accounts. Gave 2 transactions and was asked to press 1 to accept 2 to decline. I put the phone down and called the bank. It wasn’t them! Please just put the phone down on this number and don’t press any buttons
