Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. Some policy review company. They are very rude. Have been calling every day for the last how many weeks. Keep telling them to remove me from their database and they just hang up and then ring the next day!!!

Someone called me from this number this morning and I answered. He said that he was phoning in regard to a recent survey that had done with regard to debts and wanting to reduce the amount paying. He knew my name but did not introduce himself or who he was workingfor. As soon as I told him I had not filled any survey online he hung up. I tried to ring the number back but it went through to an Orange answerphone that message box was full.

Same as you all, thought the same thoughts tries the number and then searched it to double check and knew something wasn t adding up.

I m a student and find receiving silent calls unnerving.
