Mistakenly answered - it simply clicked off - presumably adding our number to endless harrassers' databases. Luckily, another call I'd missed is also now continually dialling dailly (despite answering), so I can safely (once more) ignore them all. I remember when the phone used to be a means of communication, rather than intrusion - targeting the most vulnerable. This one's probably dangerous.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. AMAZON Automated call purporting to be from Amazon claiming my account had been charged for an iphone purchase. I was given an option to report the purchase to Amazon Fraud department by pressing 1. Will now be reporting to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]
Keep calling and texting asking for Ryan McKinley, I have no idea who that is and they re starting to really get on my nerves now!
The man pretended to be a police officer, saying that the database is updated. I called the local police and they said that this was a scam.

A chap called Chris phoned, stating to be from The Green Eco Company. After introducing himself he then launched into a barrage of questions about my age group, what type of loft insulation I had, how was the loft accessed, etc, etc. He then went on to state that because of my age I was eligible for a free loft inspection, which normally cost £65.00. Blatently obvious that this was a cold call from a private company so declined his offer, hung up & blocked the number.

Called me and asked to speak to [my name]. I asked who they were, gave company name. Started trying to small talk with me so I asked the reason for the call. He then said "We re calling because of some information we ve been pass-" and then he hung up on me. Presumably he knew I couldn t be fleeced!

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

They keep phoning my landline. I tell them every time to take me off their data base because I m not interested but they still phone almost every day. I ve started telling them to F*****f but they still call me.
It is the fraud department from M&S bank. Quite legitimate and very helpful. Someone tried to get a credit card in my name.
