Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc . This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.

AMAZON - I have been called this morning in regards to suspending my Amazon account as I have a transaction of more than £1000 on the account. This is spam and fraud.
Keeps calling and gets the answer machine and ends the call. Never leaves a message and is a pestering nuisance.

SPAM i think this is a telephone call automated voice telling you there is something wrong with your Sky Broadband. This is the second time today (by half one pm) i’ve had this,plus one yesterday morning. We were targeted by the same people, from a different number last year, which i reported to Sky along with a load of other people. That was a call centre from Asia and the were about 10 daily. As this is automated - in fact the last was just silent- i haven’t yet reported it, but i will if they continue.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access.
