This phone number dialled me 10:03am and I phoned him back now and he said no I never called that number in a sluggish grumpy voice like that guy that says “computer says no”

Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.

Fraud Called today to me living in Norway. When I spoke Norwegian they hang up :-) Sounded like they called from a callcenter. Lots of speaking in the background. Probably wanted to scam me.

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!

Messaged to inform me of a delivery I missed from EVRI. With a link to re-book a delivery time. I went to the official website to track my delivery, and the number on the message that the suspected scammer gave is not recognised. Also I checked my CCTV and no-one had tried to deliver anything.

Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform. Or, a letter reccomending to call them to resolve an issue. DO NOT TRUST. They will try collecting personal information.

Not sure tried to call it back and its saying they are but I did call the acutal British Passport office and they have told me that this number is FRAUD! so do not give any information of yours! to 02038597401 this is a fraudulent number. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. And apparently NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE IN ALL THAT TIME AND SCAM ATTEMPTS BEING EVERY DAY! Worrying and EXTREMELY annoying. What’s the point of these reporting forums
