Told me I had a problem with my windows pc. Kept them on the line for 45 mins. They then asked was I going to be interested or was I taking the piss? Told them I had a Mac and yes I was taking the piss. I then hung up. Hehehe.

They phoned me in January, February, March, April and today 1st of May 2018 ! lol Problem been their phoning an old dead number of mine, calls are logged (recorded) and any txt messages are forwarded to my new number. No web link or virus can be transferred to my new mobile yawn. Some times I miss the thrill of having to fight a virus on the old mobile "NOT" lol The old sim is NOT even in a mobile phone. SCAM. 0710721862 called. Began asking whether gas boiler due for update. Iliterate - could not read his obvious script - English is clearly not first language. When I was asked the age of the boiler I said it was installed 9 months ago. He did not understand and got confused. I suggested he went back to school and he hung up. Could be attempt at identity theft or something more sinister. Number now blocked.

Rang twice and hung up. I saw it was a premium number so did not answer. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.

This is the barclaycard team calling about late payments or exceeded credit card limit. If you don t have a barclaycard, somebody has used your number so that they don t get these calls themselves.
