Obviously of foreign origin. Couldn't understand a word she said and rang off. Probably a scam

What is the use of the TPS if you keep getting these sort of calls? I thought it was supposed to stop them.

Called from a local claiming to be calling from the UK but was from an international call centre when I asked what city they were based in, they hung up.

When answered it was an automated voice saying I have been involved in a HMRC fraud and I should press 1 immediately otherwise i will be arrested. I hung up.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. This number called me today saying, lady saying she was from Google.

This number started ringing on a weekly basis and now I am receiving at least 1 missed call each day from this number. When I answer the call, I cannot understand the company nor the guys name who is calling. I am really getting angry, do not answer this call.
