Called by this number, said he was from Sky, asking if i was using the sky dish and was i over 40, then said some garbled message and hung up.

I note that many nuisance calls have been made from area code 01691. We have received three of these, (but not answered) on 01691 324928 721296 and 153337

Was just called by this number but I did not pick up. I don t know anyone from manchester I ve never been up there.

Don t answer this number because 1) They re trying it on and once they know you will respond you will receive further calls from other numbers too. 2) If you answer from abroad as I did you will be charged even though they cut the call off as soon as you do answer. I was charged 50p for a 1 second call The moral is don t answer if you don t know the callers ID. I save these bogus numbers in my phone so I know not to ever answer again. I will never answer any call from an 0151 number any more.
