According to person on other end of call, they were calling with regard to the problems I had logged with the local housing officer. I had done no such thing so this is obviously a scam call

strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This happened two more times. They then disconnected the phone it seems.

Number appears on a fake PayPal 'You've got a money request'. It is part of a warning that there has been suspicious activity on your (PayPal) account and to call this number - +44-808-196-3116. This is a fake warning added by the scammers, it is NOT a legitimate message from PayPal. If you call the number the Operator will ask to have access to your PC.
