I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers. Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.

These people will just not go away. They are trying to get your personal info and they are crap at it. Presumably they are better at paper fraud than they are at acting. I don t know how they make any money but they must do because they keep calling back or maybe they are as stuid as they sound. They sound drunk half the time. Usually they say they are fron Benefits UK and they call using lots of numbers so you can t block them for long.
