Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. My phone has the function of bringing up the business name when a call comes through, so when I proceeded to tell the caller that the actual call seemed to be coming from Gibb & Evans, he became a little confused! I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.

Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
