I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. Was sure that it was a Canadian cousin then accepted it wasnt. Asked for £9.00 odd etc etc due to bill , didnt make any sense. I persisted with the likeness (exact) of the females voice and its origins, was told India LOL I know a Canadian accent, I told the thick cow did she think I was thick? and to go and find someone else-I really wanted to use the f word but in case i got it wrong and upset some Indi/adian for nothing (and possibility of getting new phone line cut-off. 99 per cent scam , I think? - Oh
