99% SURE ITS A SCAMMER My phone ID'S them as "West One Hair and Beauty" of Norwich. Caller claimed to be from O2, about my bill and saving me money on my Vodafone. TELSTAR, and Virgin mobile accounts. When asked when Caller ID says they are a hairdressers, they immediately hung up.

I was told that this person needed to access my account to block these people from using my internet connection. I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. And yet, an internet search suggests that this number is regularly used as part of a scam. The Barclays operator need to wake up and start offering better advice than "don't worry, it's a Barcla

SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!
