This is for a financial claim and I asked to be removed from there system and was apologised to and received a call from a the manager who further apologised for the call and assured me that I will not receive any further calls, he then went onto give me some advice against an issue I have currently which he really did not need to do, very polite chap and having looked up the Company details they are legit and dealing with a few areas for financial claims, this is not a scam and the guys are very polite.

Fraud, call was an automated message claiming to be from HMRC. Claimed that a fraud case was open against my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to the claims officer, then an arrest warrant would be issued immediately.

Often in morning or evening. even up to 3 times a day. As with all unknown numbers just slide to busy tone and never answer. Nuisance. No reason for EE to call me on unknown numbers. I only get email or SMS from them on genuine Caller ID d numbers.

They phoned me in January, February, March, April and today 1st of May 2018 ! lol Problem been their phoning an old dead number of mine, calls are logged (recorded) and any txt messages are forwarded to my new number. No web link or virus can be transferred to my new mobile yawn. Some times I miss the thrill of having to fight a virus on the old mobile "NOT" lol The old sim is NOT even in a mobile phone. I am ex-directory, but I just had a phone call from UK Law. My advice is, if they ring you, dial 141 followed by their number, 01512219676, and make sure you have heavy metal music on full volume with your music speakers by the mouthpiece of your phone. It worked for me.
