4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.
As above, about my accident that I didn't have! Very clever to be using my local area dialling code to trick me into thinking it might be a genuine call!

Calked this morning. Didn't answer as I don't answer numbers I don't know. Left a strange voicemail. Googled the number came up as a scam caller.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. This is for a travel agent called Tropical Sky. It was a legitimate call in my case.
Called my call centre claiming to be open reach(BT) network in area needs to discuss. When I called them back did not want to say why they were calling and did not announce who they were. BT would have done. Once pressed for details they hung up so I d say they are scammers and not to be trusted. But that is just my view.

Just had a very unpleasent talk with a man who called from this number claiming he represents Warbrook & Co . He was very rude, he wanted to talk to my husband who was not at home and then he said it is about some money investment and it is urgent. He didn t sound credible and I would never have any bussiness with him.
I received a text message from this number just saying "How are you my good friend" so I immediately blocked the number as I do not know who this number belongs to.
Probably a scam as Claimed to be from ee but didn't address me by name and asked if I was interested in the latest iPhone and when I said no just said "bye bye" and hung up which isn't how ee staff usually respond
