I got an automated call from this numer telling me I was accused of tax fraud and if I didn't press 1, a warrant would be issued and I would e arrested shortly. I think we can safely say this is a scam.

Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.

The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
