claim to be from Microsoft, couldn`t even get my name right

claimed viruses on my computer, usual crap. but didn t even know my name/address. Claimed to be from a computer company in Leicester.

This caller Disguised number as local (01227) our area, no voice, suspect robo caller - a hang up call, we are a business I have to answer "local" numbers... incidentally I had a lady from "BT" call me yesterday and very calmly bullishly tell me they were upgrading our line to increase speed (I have nothing to with BT ever, not een a line, "Oh Great! Received call from someone calling himself Harold Shipman asking for me by name. I asked who he was, he stated "I m a criminal". I ended the phone call and rang 1471 to ascertain number.

The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.

When I answered it it cut off. Rang back and it said no such number

Missed two calls from this number. Using "ringback" to the number shown on my mobile, 9 minutes later, a recorded message told me that I had dialled a incorrect numb...

They said they were Consumer Benefits - didn't let them progress the call - asked them to take my number off and put phone down.

Originally I contacted them from a referal from my sister as they contacted her about a video games tester job which applied more to me. They called me back within 20mins which was strange and then never let up. I thought they were sketchy from the start o talking to them, again some indian guy with bad connection, and would call 3-4 times day plus sending emails about his job offer, I didnt know anything about them apart from some company name so I searched it and found this!!

they call me several times a week, they claimed about a charge against my mortgage. They have my wrong personal data. That s why I think they are dangerous and scammy. Don’t know if GDPR is working for them
