SCAM. Caller stated himself to be from the "UK Claims Department" which the UK's Financial Conduct Authority states to be unauthorised to conduct financial matters within the UK. From a mobile number too - no legitimate company would allow that. You're now warned!

One in a number of regular calls from 'Mobile Numbers' recently ! All are an apparently recorded message in what sounds like Chinese or similar language.
Phoned several times but no message left on answering machine.
Fraud - its an automated message to say that an arrest warrant has been issued in your name for tax evasion, and to press 1 for more information and to "avoid legal action".

My number is telephone preference system (TPS) and therefore this company - or any others like it - should not be calling - this was a 'fishing' call. Callers' name was 'Joe' - male, said he was 'an energy advisor'. End of call. Don't call again, Joe, you might get my husband next time and he is nowhere near as polite as I am.
Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!
This number is very active in harassing people at the moment. Saw on Scottish Power Twitter today customer complaint of this no. SP replied to DM Scottish Power with their number and they would remove from dialar. S P s admission it s their number ! Will S P remove their number ? Adam - with an Indian accent called to speak to the business owner regarding the gas and electricity bills. I asked f it was a sales call, he responded yes madam it is . I asked him why he was contacting us as we are registered with TPS. He promptly hung up.

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Obviously a scam, so beware!
