Rang me yesterday using a none existing or spoofed UK type area code. As we have True Caller it stopped the morons disturbing us.
SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.

Called me three times in one afternoon, very annoying. I didn’t recognise the number and didn’t answer the calls.
SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. He same recorded American Male voice started talking, saying he was someone calling from HMRC to discuss a case with me, and to call him back before "the lawsuit" against me went to "local county court". I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

This people keep on calling every day, asking for personal details. I never give any , and now blocked that number. If there was a remote chanche they are from British gas, I ve should receive a letter first.
Someone called and asked if I would be interested in having one of their escorts for the evening. The charge would be £350.

SCAM Been called from this number five times in three hours by an automated system claiming to be from Amazon and stating that I have bought a gadget. An obvious scam call, but an extremely irritating one given the frequency of the calls.

Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
