the classic "you had a car accident" scam call
This American male calls night after night to a business number and asks for a service that they offer, but then states that their situation is so top secret that they can't share what it is that they want. They then say suddenly that they have to go and they put the phone down. Initially withheld their number. Very odd behaviour and comes across as rather off balance. This is probably stalking/harassment, but it's to an unknown business.

Got a call from a guy asking me if i had problems with my ears of if i had worked in a noisy environment. Hung up when i said no. Called the number to see who they were and where they were from but the number is not recognised.

Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!

After a "bad" day we get these types of call. Aged 88 and 86, it is a thorough nuisance.
Hassling texts and calls, claiming recovery of non existent debt . Told them to write, providing supporting evidence. They refused to do. SCAM!

SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. 02 Dec 2021 - called repeatedly - using terms such as my friend or my lover. Lots of call centre noise in the back ground, all saying different things to different callers. Never found out what they wanted. Asked them to remove me from their data base three times. Reply
