Called with recorder message saying possible fraudulent transactions- no mention of what bank or card . Quotes £300 on Amazon and £1000 international bank transfer- wanted me to press a number to authorise or speak to someone- I hung up
I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

This is a scam number based in eastern block country, pretending to be HMRC. Report it immediately and completely ignore it.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. 0203 4554638 - this number has called me several times over the last week. She said she was calling from Curry's and "wanted to give me a 30% discount on your account" - clearly a scammer - I hung up - these people should be taken down!

Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform.
